Vegan Delights

Last Friday we went to this vegetarian restaurant. Mae has been telling me about this place. So we went their. The place is similar to turo-turo style of service but the place is air- conditioned. It is owned by Taiwanese nationals. The people are polite, quite freaky though. They were staring at us the whole time we were eating. Maybe because the restaurant is newly opened and they're very excited in seeing customers.

The food is good and it's cheap but don't expect for large servings cause they're NOT!. We ordered sweet and sour soup, fried dumplings, stir- fried veggie meat, veggie meat stew, steamed patola, faux chicken strips and a lot more, i just forgot what they're called.

Here are some pictures of the food that we ordered:

This is so sad and so true

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year
old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the
man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an
hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you
source fromcan borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then
you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why
you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish
frivolities.' The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's
questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After
about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and
he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of
the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' He
asked. 'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. 'I've been thinking,
maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long
day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you
asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!'
He yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled
up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get
angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then
looked up at his father. 'Why do you want more money if you already
have some?' the father grumbled. Because I didn't have enough, but now
I do,' the little boy replied. 'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an
hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to
have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he
begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you
working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our
fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to
us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of
your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily
replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave
behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Can I Borrow $25?

If only animals could go to Heaven

This is the second time that it happened this month.

One of our kittens is dying. I saw her lying on the ground with ants under her. I immediately came closer to her to remove the ants. While removing the ants i heard a weak growl, i felt very sad 'cause I really like animals (the furry ones except rodents). I picked her up but she was already light and flat so i just put her down together with her parents. I wanted to save her but there's nothing I can do.

Ewan ko ba no? Stray animals death are usually due to lack of care, hunger or even maltreatment from sadist people. Ang masakit pa sa parte nila they don't have souls kaya they'll just die and will not experience the eternal life. They'll just be in the realm of nothingness (may word na ganoon?).

Kaya for the animals who were neglected, this is for you.

The Prodigal Son of Blogspot

HELLO!

I know, ang feeling ng title no? *tawa*
I want to start all over again, my introduction before was not appealing, nobody reads my posts and i guess no one seems to care. I was really excited when I started blogging, I would regularly log in hoping that there are people who reads my blog but time went by and still nobody reads it only my friends, I guess my site was just really boring.

As a teenager, I want to do a lot of things, i want to be extra ordinary, i just don't want to be that ordinary human being who blends in the crowd. Uh?, tunog centrum? *tawa*.

We live in a world where we get things that we want easily. Everyone wants to be famous. There are talent searches that aspiring singers and actors can join in, Wowowee and other game shows is an easy way to earn money. Sometimes this shows are eye opener for us, to see how poor a lot of Filipinos are. Those are just few things that internet can give.
We also have internet, it's cheap and it's easy access. Uh, internet!, social networks, blogging, if you need a quick toss there's PORN (that didn't sound right?),research. Diba ang dali?

Konektado pa'din ang sasabihin ko ah. Well kasi nga when I started blogging i was expecting to have readers in a span of one month but that didn't happen. Kasi naman no gusto ko agad-agad because of that I felt discouraged and ran out of blogging ideas. Then my blog became stagnant. For months I didn't post entries. *kalungkot*

"...ang lahat ng mga successful na bagay ay nag sisimula sa maliliit katulad ng Christianity!..."

Kaya ngayon i'm reinventing my blogging style and hopefully it will be interesting. I no longer expect for
One day I'll be like Jesus (joke lang Lord.).
